Charlie went to high school in Memphis and then moved to Chicago in 1962
looking for a job and to make his living.  He played harmonica on Maxwell
Street with Homesick James, Johnny Young, and Robert Nighthawk.  During the
1960's Charlie formed his own band and also played with Little Walter,
Carey Bell, and Sonny Boy Williamson.  However in 1970, he moved West to
San Francisco, CA.  During the 1980's Charlie began playing & touring on a
regular basis and appears in numerous national festivals.
